  1. I actually made a DnD fight based off of Professor Putricide in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. He was one of my favorite fights while playing that game and wanted to see if DnD could replicate it. http://www.wowwiki.com/Professor_Putricide

I was able to make good solo with a brutal attack, concotions that dropped near him which exploded if you stood on them, lobs of poison goo that pooled around the room, summoning oozes that charged farther party members and exploded, and a nasty enrage mechanic when he got to bloodied. By the end of the fight, 90% of the room was covered in poisonous goo and only two people were left standing. One of my better boss fights.

    • Nice! Yeah in this article I mentioned the fight with Hakkar. Despite all of the bad things we can say about WoW – it sure had some great boss fights! Sadly, I never got to experience Professor Putricide, by the time I was at this point in the game raiding was a fizzled out option for me 🙁

  2. I have actually put together something that I (horribly) call WoW&D and have converted several raid boss fights, i.e. Onyxia, Magtheridon and others, and also 5 man dungeon boss chains. Several of my friends really liked the idea and have enjoyed playing around with it.
