Lords of Waterdeep is the newest offering from WotC as far as D&D board games go. This game, unlike it’s predecessors is not about dungeon crawls, heroics, or world domination. Lords of Waterdeep puts you in the drivers seat of one of the powerful lords that secretly control the city of splendors through trade, espionage, the clergy, magic, and all out warfare.

So, this will be my last 4e product review. I’ll still be talking about D&D here non stop, and I’ll still be reviewing other D&D products like Lords of Waterdeep and other cool things coming down the pipe. However since I’m no longer actively playing 4e, I don’t want to wind up feeling like a tool writing product reviews or content for a game I no longer play.

Baldur’s Gate Sequel?!

As many of you who already know me, you’re probably aware of my unhealthy fondness of the Baldur’s Gate PC game series. For those of you who were unaware of this, you may now consider yourselves in the loop. Baldur’s Gate was my entrance into the D&D world, it spoke to me as a gamer and drew me into the hobby, and the series is still to this day my single favorite video game of all time.

Revenge of the Iron Lich, One Year Later.

You descend a wide set of marbled steps, dimly lit by sconces crafted to look as if flame were spewing from the mouths of the iron skulls that adorn them. The low groan of metal reverberates through the chamber that is otherwise silent, aside from a muted hum sounding like thousands of gears in perpetual motion.
